Dygn Privacy Policy

Dygn is a personal wellness and habit app. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat, or cure any condition.
What Dygn does with data
Dygn is built for one person on their own iPhone. There is no Dygn server and no custom backend. Schedule, completions, and trip details live on the iPhone and, if iCloud is turned on, in that Apple ID's private iCloud (CloudKit) database. Nobody else, including the developer, can read your Dygn data.
HealthKit
With permission, Dygn may read from Apple Health:
- Sleep analysis
- Heart-rate variability (SDNN)
- Resting heart rate
- Sleeping wrist temperature
- Time in daylight
- Workouts and workout effort
- Mindful sessions
Dygn may write workouts, user-rated workout effort, and mindful sessions that you log in the app.
HealthKit data is used only to run the daily protocol on this device (for example, automatically marking a light or exercise block complete). It is not sold, not used for advertising, and not sent to any server.
Location, weather, and calendar
With when-in-use location permission, Dygn computes sunrise and sunset on the device and may request Apple WeatherKit cloud cover and UV. Calendar access is optional, to notice clashes with protocol blocks. Notifications are local on the iPhone.
Optional WHOOP and Oura
WHOOP and Oura are optional. If you connect them, Dygn fetches recovery, sleep, and workout summaries directly to this iPhone. Access tokens are stored in the Keychain on this device only. Disconnecting removes the tokens. You do not need these accounts to use Dygn.
What we do not do
- No account or login
- No tracking, no advertising identifier, no third-party analytics
- No sale of personal or health data
